The Greenwich Special Olympics season is fast approaching

First day is SUNDAY Nov 26th 4 - 5:15pm at Hamill

Windy Hill has for many years encouraged skaters to give some of their time towards helping GSO athletes get ready for the Connecticut Special Olympics, which are held in late Feb. Our skaters coach and choreograph programs for the athletes. I say this every year but I still don't know who gets the most out of this program, the skaters or the athletes.

This program is best suited for the older skater,12 and upwards. They meet every Sunday at Hamill from 4 to 5:15 pm. There are a few breaks over the Holiday period and it all ends in late Feb when the Olympics are held in Simsbury CT.The Olympians you will be helping not only come from Greenwich but also New York,Westchester and all of Fairfield county.

Skaters who sign up must be prepared to travel to Simsbury in Feb and are expected to have a minimum 80% attendance to the Sunday sessions.
